Terms such as "kid broke," and "spirited" might be red flags. In some cases sellers will even sedate or starve horses so they appear calm and gentle until you have them home. And last but not least, an experienced eye can identify problems with a horse that might indicate lameness or costly problems that might prevent a horse from being ridden or may mean thousands of dollars in vet bills that could have been avoided. Our staff hold certifications in equine appraisal backed by years of experience dealing with both equine buyers and sellers. |
